I played as a patron in Venice and started a bakery shop because hey everyone needs to eat! I got married at the age of 28 and opened a public house (like a restaurant) for my wife two years later. ![]() There are four "classes" and each has multiple career options: patrons, craftmen (trademen), scholars, and rogues. ![]() Politics exist but you must have strong finance to make your way up. It revolves more around business sim than politics though. ![]() The game plays like Crusader King at micro level. There are many game modes but I always play "Dynasty" so the game won't end unless the last member of your dynasty dies. Mind you all the "expansions" are stand-alone and has all the added features. I have been playing Renaissance because that's the latest release. I got addicted to the Guild (Europa 1400) years ago and finally bought Guild 2 series during Steam sales in February but didn't play it til last night.
